Find the Different Color
About Find the Different Color
This page opens Hue Test in Odd Hue Out mode, a quick game of finding the different color. Every level shows a grid of tiles that look the same – except one, which is shifted slightly in hue. Tap it and the next grid appears, a little larger and a little harder.
The first levels use a 2×2 or 3×3 grid and an obvious difference. By the later levels you are looking at up to 64 tiles with a hue shift of only a few degrees. You have 60 seconds in total, and each wrong tap costs three seconds, so guessing rarely pays off.
Your best level is saved in your browser. It is a game for fun and depends on your screen – not a test of your eyesight.
How to Play Find the Different Color
- Look at the whole grid and tap the tile that looks different.
- Each correct tap advances one level; wrong taps cost 3 seconds.
- See how many levels you clear before the timer ends.
Find the Different Color Tips & Tricks
- Hold your device at arm's length – the odd tile often stands out more.
- If nothing stands out, compare the corners of the grid first, then the centre.
