Paint Quest Kiddo

About Paint Quest Kiddo

Paint Quest: Kiddo! is a simple colouring book for children. Choose a picture, pick colours from the palette and tap areas to fill them in.

Choosing which shades go together is an early lesson in colour – the same skill our Hue Test plays with, in a gentler form.

The pictures start as black-and-white line drawings – cool cartoon cars, cute animals and other friendly scenes – and the virtual crayons let children fill them in however they like. Everything is controlled with the mouse, so it is easy for small hands on a laptop or with a parent's help. Colouring is a gentle way for kids to explore which colours sit well together and how light and dark shades change a picture, long before they would enjoy a game like our Hue Test.
